Welcome to VALORDB, operated by ResilientMind AI LLC ("we," "us"). By accessing or using VALORDB (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
VALORDB provides legal information, not legal advice. It is a research tool that surfaces public decisions, statutes, and regulations, and statistics about how the Board of Veterans' Appeals has historically ruled. It does not interpret your specific claim, does not create an attorney–client relationship, and is not a substitute for an accredited Veterans Service Officer, accredited claims agent, or attorney.
VA claims carry hard deadlines and one-shot effective-date consequences. Do not rely on VALORDB — or on any AI output — as the basis for a filing decision. Confirm everything with an accredited representative and the primary source. To find accredited help, use the VA's accreditation search (va.gov/ogc/apps/accreditation).
AI-generated analysis can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and can misattribute or fabricate citations. We ground citations against an ingested copy of Title 38, but you must verify any statute, regulation, or decision against the primary source before relying on it. Regulations change; a rule shown here is current only as of the effective date stamped on it.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to provide legal advice to others while representing yourself as authorized to do so when you are not; (b) scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service; (c) misrepresent VALORDB output as official VA guidance; or (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Some features require an account or a paid subscription. API access is governed by your plan's rate limits and these Terms. Fees, where applicable, are described at the point of purchase. Veteran access to core search remains free.
See the Privacy Policy. Important: if you choose a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek), your prompts — which may include decision text and personal information — leave our infrastructure and are processed by that third party under its terms. Fully sovereign, on-device processing is available on the VALORDB on-site appliance.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResilientMind AI LLC and Joseph C. McGinty Jr. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service or its output, including any adverse outcome in a VA claim or appeal.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
